Pastor Bryan has been involved in some type of ministry his whole life.  Growing up as a pastors kid Bryan is a third generation Church Of God minister.  Called to preach at the age of seventeen Bryan received his Exhorter Rank from the Church Of God in November of 2000 and his Ordination Rank in April 2006.  He also completed the Church Of God MAP program in May 2000 and graduated the Church Of God Ministerial Internship Program in June 2006.  In April 2008 Bryan received his Ordained Bishop rank in the Church Of God which is the highest rank recognized by the denomination. Bryan is a 2007 graduate of Lee University completing his Bachelor Of Science degree in Christian Ministry along with a Minor in Bible. He also plans to continue his Graduate work in counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University in Spring 2009.  Bryan is a great speaker, administrator and organizer.  Each time he speaks he challenges you to do more for the cause of Christ.  In 2006 Pastor Bryan was honored by the ministers of the Churches of God in Kentucky by being elected to the Kentucky Church Of God State Youth And Christian Education Board.

Jill is a 1998 graduate of Lexington Community College with an associates degree in computer information systems.  Jill is also a 2007 graduate from Shawnee State University gaining her Bachelor Of Science degree in Early Elementary Education.  Jill is planning on beginning her Graduate work as well in early 2009 in the field of media specialist.  Jill is a great organizer and is very creative in all aspects of ministry.  Jill also serves as a member of the Kentucky Church of God State Girls Clubs board.  She and Bryan were married in 1999.

Bryan and Jill were Youth Pastors at the Willisburg Church Of God from 1999-2000 and were also on full-time staff as Youth and Children's Pastors at the Richmond Lexington Road Church Of God from 2000-2003. Bryan and Jill were also on pastoral staff at the Wurtland Church of God from 2003-2008 to oversee the Youth, Children, Sunday School and Family Training Hour Departments. They have also traveled and held Kids Crusades, spoke at Youth Camps, youth conferences as well as Bryan ministering in services singing and preaching the gospel across the United States.

Bryan and Jill are the proud parents of Brycen Lee Montgomery.  They are excited to now lead the great East Bernstadt Church Of God.   Great things are happening here.
